02 Ford Supercrew. I have an intermittent problem with my turn signals. When I push the blinker up or down nothing happens most of the time. But occasionally it will work. I was wondering if i could have a short or not sure what it could be?

It could be a few things....

Turn signal switch is failing, hazard/flasher is failing, or yes, a wiring problem.

Start with the easiest first....replace the flasher and the fuse....even if it looks good. Sometimes reseating the fuse will fix this.

Next would be to pull the steering wheel and check that turn signal cam/housing for corrosion or something with the wires.

Last would be to replace the turn signal assembly.

You can try tilting the steering wheel all the way to the up position, and see if it resolves the problem.,

If so, you have a somewhat common problem of the connector at the base of the steering wheel being pulled apart.

If the tilt fixes the problem, remove the knee panel, and pull up some slack on the truck side of the harness. Pull the connector apart, and check for discolored pins in the connector.
If this is not an issue, put the connector back together, and make sure the connector tab is still functional, else you might need to zip tie the connector together.
On the truck's side of that harness, zip tie it to the support frame for the knee panel, so it cannot pull the connector apart again.

Just something to test, with the advice you have already gotten,

Why do my emergency flashers work, but turn signals are intermittent on 2004 ford expedition, what could be the cause of this ?

Cause could be from a worn out multi-function switch (blinker switch)
Filaments heat and expand and decrease in size as current runs to them, basically making and breaking a circuit several times, creating an intermittent switch that supplies current to the lights. These can go out, and will need to be replaced.

F150 alarm remote not working

Been down that road already with my 2002 Supercrew. My remote had become intermittent and also required several attempts. I tried a new battery first with no results. I replaced the key fob because the push buttons had become "mushy" anyway and it has been fine ever since. The buttons wear out if you use it as much as I do...

your problem is fix is easy your problem is the connection where the light bulb plugs into holder. Take bulbs out and clean plug contacts with a fine flat file, then make sure bulbs are pushed back correctly. And you problem should be solved.

No turn signals or emergency blinkers

I had the same problem twice before. Solved it the same way both times. In my case it was the Hazard switch at the top of the steering column. It was stuck. I knew it was that because the signal lights had been functioning perfectly until I parked my car alongside the road with the hazard lights on to do some nighttime fishing and sip a little white lightnin'. (just kiddin' about the white lightnin')

When I got back in my car to go, I turned off the hazard lights but I had no turn signal lights! So I kept pushing that hazard button up and down for about 30 times with my left turn signal arm down until it started working again. So after having this happen to me twice, I learned a valuable lesson: Don't ever use hazard signals in this car.
