I have a ford radio thats been disconnected ive reconnected but can,t enter the code which the ford dealer gave me it just keeps flashing err

Unfortunately you will need to visit a Nissan dealer to get it reset.

Disconnect the battery for thirty minutes, and then reconnect it, then try to enter the code that was given to you.

Disconnect battery, reconnect then let sit for an hour and make sure dealer gave you exact sequence to enter code.

first you need to disconnect battery to stop it then reconnect it and try code again if you don't know it call the ford dealer with your vin number they will give it to you and tell you how to reset your radio.

If the radio display reads "code" then simply use theradio preset buttons, enter the code in the correct order, and the radio will unlock. If, however, the radio reads "Err" or "Code Err" It's likely that someone has made several attempts to unlock the radio using incorrect codes. In that case you will need to disconnect and reconnect the negative battery cable. This will reset the radio and allow you to enter your code. If you lost the code, you may retrieve it from https://radio-navicode.honda.com/
The code they gave me was 2246, but I had to add an 1 at the end of it to get it to work, so the end of it was 24461. Yours will be different.

jess, if it won't accept the code. try disconnecting your ground terminal for a few minutes, then reconnect and try entering your code again

leave the radio switched to the on position, turn your car ignition on to "accessories" and wait for about 20-30 minutes. the radio should change from ERR and offer you to enter the CODE agian. Good luck!

Your local Ford Dealer will be able to supply you with the code,although they will charge you for it. Other than that a lot of of car radio sellers will put a new code in for you for about a fiver.

turn key to <acc> turn radio will blink err. leave on for at least half hour.err will be replaced by enter code.
