I-trigue 3400 speakers

My Creative system has worked well up until now. When the volume control is turned up full, I am getting limited noise, hardly any infact. Is it a problem with the subwoofer. Checked my connections and all are intact

My 3400 worked yesterday, but today the subwoofer stopped working. I tried a lot of different things. In the end, I simply had to jiggle the wired remote connection to the subwoofer and it started working again.

I think the problem is due to its Amplifier. Check volume control loose contact, You just change the place sometimes any external device make noise like transformer etc.

Hello Jool67
Some creative lines of speakers, and (SUBs) have problems, with the board, inside the subwofer, I recommend you RMS your Speakers to Creative, or a dealer (autorized) to fix the board. other than that, you can also go on www.creativelabs.com and see if they can help you on your particular speaker for RMS. or warranty.

The speakers work fine apart from the sub component has lost all volume u can hear it very faintly if u turn the volume to full and the bass control to max. I've taken the sub apart to some extent...

Appears that the map powering the sub woofer is fubar. Those amps take a beating usually from being over driven. Transistors are not like tubes that will just reach a limit, distort, and stay there. You push a transistor and it will self destruct since it knows no limits ala evel knevil.

My I-TRIGUE 3400 wont work with windows 7 unlimate 64 bit

Hello
First be sure you have downloaded and installed the correct sounddrivers.Meaning win 7 64 bit.
Not to be confused with 32 bit.You need 64 bit.

Next go to control panel, sound.Click on speakers then configure.Choose quadrophonic or 5.1.
Then run a test on each.
Also go to properties.and be sure the levels are turned up.
You may need to reboot after you do this for sound to work.

Where can i find another one of the small white aux cables that the creative I-trigue 3400 comes with?

I see. I have a cable just like that! You can buy them many places, I have found amazon.com to be the cheapest.
Here is an example of the cable I have and it works great. This should work perfectly for connecting your iPod to your Creative speakers.
http://www.amazon.com/3-5mm-Male-Retractable-Cable/dp/B0026SGOCC/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1295894682&sr=8-15
Its 1.85 with free shipping! get a few. This should help. Please feel free to vote if it does.
Have a good one.

No Sound from External Speakers....only from Headset plug.

Hi, had same problem.... unscrew the remote and carefully remove the back end part of the stereo-connector (very careful !) it consists of a very small switch which moves sideways..... this switch is stuck into headphone-modus. Reassemble and it will work again
Note that speakers will work if you remove the switch
