TV had been working fine.. untill recently it started turning on and off by itself, sometimes it works for a stretch of time.. others it turns off immediatly
We have the same TV and after three years it is now doing the same thing. .. turns off about 5 - 10 sec after you turn it on. Watching a DVD for 1 hour ,tv goes off.I turned it on but it went off after a few seconds.Will not eject ,goes on but shuts off when eject button is pressed.

I have the same t.v. and it shuts off by itself but right before it shuts off stop, then eject flashes on the screen and there is no tape or dvd in the unit................very disappointed!!!!!! It might be intereference that's being amplified. Try moving the power pack away from other things. I got the same when it was positioned near a 360 power brick.
check your setup menu and make sure that turn off timer is off

When you turn your tv off turn it off using the remote control then turn off the tvs switch itself... Try this for a few days hope it works for you. Thanks.
