Depending on many variables such as blower speed, coils clean, indoor/outdoor temps.

Model is over 5 years old so unlikely to get a new one. However, the outdoor units fail while the indoor is good so check eBay or your local installer.

Icing is caused by one of two things.
1. The air coming in is too much and has a lot of water vapor in it.
2. The evaporator is too cold. This could be because of a low refrigerant charge

Only a qualified person should charge your system fines are up to $50,000. I advise to call a HVAC technician.

Normally, the tag on the outside unit (as far as amount of refrigerant) takes into account the line set and the evaporator coil.

I have run into this with the LG brand systems. try shutting power off to the outdoor unit to reset all units. If problem persists, it could have to do with a charge level of refrigerant (freon) or possibly a failed control board.
