power off the printer. removed the network cable only. power on until it display ready. now print a config sheet or menu map. if it print without error then connect the network cable and print config sheet again. wait and observed. if it will start printing garbage then KILL the print jobs queued on the printer. after deleting all print jobs power off and power on printer with network cable connected. I hope that will fix the problem. by the way. was there any error display in the panel display like "49.4C02". etc.
If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.
There are 3 possible causes why your printer won't print.
printer is offline
there are print jobs stuck in the queue
USB cable not detected
Download and install the HP print diagnostic utility to help you identify and fix the problem.

Well, if the electronic circuit on the cartridge has blown, you have no other alternative then to buy a new cartridge. You can remove the cartridge and gently wipe the cartridge contacts. Turn off your printer, wait for a few min, then turn it back on. Put the cartridge back. If that doesn't work,
Open the cartridge access door.
Remove either cartridge (not both).
Close the cartridge access door.
If the computer message is Print Cartridge Error
, then the print cartridge that is still in the printer is the problem
cartridge.
If the computer
message is NOT Print Cartridge Error
(instead, it says that the cartridge you have removed is ...Either missing, not detected, or
incorrectly installed
), then the cartridge you have removed is the problem cartridge.
There is a cmos battery in the printer, and, yes, when you remove it, the printer forgets everything (serial number, number of copies, etc). I have found a clip, but it says it only works for some HP printers. You can try that, but I am not sure that will help solve your problem.
