Re: dell latitude C800
Here's whats happening. your sister bought this from a company. now its basically asking for windows password for some of the employees that it was registered under. there is no shortcut to fix this problem except to use the operating system CD that came with it and reformat the computer. You need to run the CD outside the operating system. You can go to bios by hitting F2 on the dell screen or F12 and see if you have an option there to boot to the cd rom drive. if you dont have the disk, you can use any existing dell XP operating system.

Hi. You need to check first if your computer has its wireless driver installed. Wireless adapter should be turned on and enabled. Click on the computer icon on the lower right side of the screen and wireless adapter should be able to search for your wireless router. Click the name if your router then click connect. If it is asking for a password, type in your router password. You should be connected to the internet by this time.
You can get the master password for your Dell by calling Dell Technical Support at (800)624-9896. Dell Technical Support will request the Service Tag and Express Service Code from the bottom of your Latitude. If you were not the original owner of the Latitude, Dell will transfer registration of the used Latitude from the original owner with only the Service Tag and Express Service Code from the tag on the laptop. To transfer the registration of a used Dell Latitude, fill out the Transfer of Ownership form on Dell's web site.
