When I turn on the camera it doesn't show anything on the screen. Does it need any charger or only the batteries AA?

The camera doesn't come with a charger. It uses standard AA batteries. If you use rechargeable batteries then you must charge them outside the camera using a separate battery charger. It could possibly be the battery or the charger itself.Try purchasing the charger it self.Use the old battery to see if it will charge it. If it does not charge you may have to purchase a new battery.as well.

Some camera will not turn on (Turn on but not take pictures etc) when you plug it in USB, it will only communicate with the camera PC suite software to transfer pictures.

Regarding the battery, if your camera has mobile phones type lithium ion batteries then you can either charge these batteries outside if you have a charger for them or put the battery in camera and plug the camera with its charger that came with it. Its just like charging mobile phone.

If your camera uses AA size (pencil cell) batteries then you will need to either buy Duracell batteries (or any other good Alkaline battery, Duracell is good) and throw them when they stop working or

Buy rechargeable AA size Ni-MH or Li-Ion batteries with charger. Charge the battery with its charger for at least 12 hours before first use or follow the instruction written on battery pack.

I think you are either using normal carbon AA size batteries that are used in clocks or toys, these will not work in digital camera.

Your vivicam takes AA batteries, which are widely available. Use good quality ones, such as Duracell M3 or Energizer lithiums, as some cheap brands don't last very long.

If your AA batteries are rechargeable, they will say so on the side. Then you'll need an appropriate charger (Photo stores can supply, if required - just show them what you are trying to charge).

No, don't chuck yet. Pull the black lever toward the USB port on the bottom of the camera. Then pull the camera apart. You will find two AA batteries located inside that need to changed.

• The HTsi & HTsi Plus cameras do not take AA batteries. They take two CR2 batteries. One AA battery will only be 1.5 volts. The CR2 batteries are 3 volts each, providing 6 volts to the camera(when you have 2 installed). So if you insert a AA battery, there is not a high enough voltage to allow the camera to operate, which is why it doesn't do anything in your case. The AA battery will not damage the electronics of the camera, but it may physically damage the "battery compartment door" if you have to force it closed.

It is a high-powered camera, also knows as a GREAT camera. Use CRV-3 lithium duracell batteries. I have the same camera and the same "problem", but when I use that battery it lasts forever.

You cant use regular batteries on these cameras. I have the same one., you need to buy rechargeable batteries or lithium batteries, both are stronger,but more costly than your regular alkaline batteries. This will defrinatly fix the problem..I am 100% positive,.They sell recharg- able batteries ar walmart for like $20.00 taht comes with 4 aa batteries and the pulg in charger.
