Question about Fuji FinePix S602 Zoom Digital Camera
Yesterday I tried to take pictures with my camera and found that both the viewfinders only displayed 2/3 of the screen. The remaining 1/3 was a vertical black band. The same black band comes out on the photos when I look at them on the pc.
It views old photos loaded onto the card fine. The same happens when I use the video mode.
I have not knocked it in any way so I am hoping it Could be fixed by a firmware upgrade.
Hi Dominic, have you been able to find a solution for the s602? I have the same as Lim1t, half of the display is ok, rest not, vertical split, old pictures come up OK. I am out of warranty and hope to find a solution.
Since you can see it when taking new pictures but not on old photos then that suggests that the part of the image sensor is faulty. I think this would make it a camera repair shop job as the S602's can't be taken to bits easily.
