I bought the Audiovox BA200 car subwoofer from someone and they no longer had the cord that connects to the radio and powers it. Where exactly can I go buy this cord so that I can hook it up? Will they have it at any car stereo instillation shop or do I need to special order it from somewhere? Specific information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Any cigarette lighter 12 volt power adapter will work, as long as it fits. Take your unit to Best Buy, Fry's, Walmart, or Circuit City and match the plug that goes into the unit to a new one. The other end will plug into the car lighter socket. Check the gps section of the electronics department. They will have one that works.
I bought a car charger for a motorola razr for ten bucks at a gas station and it works perfectly. i also bought a replacement cord from radio shack which also worked perfectly but hit me for 24 bucks. Either or is fine!
There are 5 wires to connect to the BA-200 for proper operation.
1. Red Wire with Fuse: Connect this wire to a source of + 12 volts which does not turn off with the ignition
key. It may also be connected directly to the po~itive (+) terminal of the battery.
2. Black Wire: Secure this wire using a screw or bolt on a grounded metal surface of the vehicle. Clean-away
any rust, dirt, or paint from the surface to make sure a good connection is made.
3. Blue Wire: This wire activates the BA-200 when the stereo system is turned on. Connect it to the "Power
.Antenna" lead from your car stereo. If your car stereo does not have or you cannot locate the Power
Antenna lead, the blue wire can be connected to a source of + 12 volts which is turned on and off with the
ignition switch. In this case, the BA-200 will be activated whenever the ignition switch is turned on, whether
the car stereo is on or off.
4. Green Wire: Splice this wire to the wire going to the positive (+) terminal (sometimes indicated bya red
dot) of the left speaker of your stereo system.
5. G ray Wire: Splice this wire to the wire going to the positive ( + ) terminal (sometimes indicated bya red dot)
of the right speaker of your stereo system.
You Need to order this piece trough the manufacturer, with out this piece the sub is useless, i am guessing around $20-$30 for it
(There are different versions of the ba-200, so I'm assuming they al
use the same wiring/pinout...)
if you look at the amp on the enclosure(right-side up... so the writin
goes left->right):
The top left pin is #1, beside it is #2, then #3.
The bottom left pin is #4, beside it is #5, then #6.
#1 Right speaker positive input
#2 Empty
#3 12 Volt Constant Power
#4 Left speaker positive input
#5 Remote turn on / Acc power input
#6 Ground
Now there's supposed to be a 15-amp fuse on pin #3 (12v constan
power).
