Question about Whirlpool GEW9250 Electric Dryer
Stopped dryer to take something out. Attempted to re-start dryer ... will not start. Everything lights up proper, but when you press start, it beeps once and the "Sensing Lights" begins to blink. This all the machine will do. Have unplugged and cycled the breaker to no effect.
It's the thermal fuse and it's easy to install if you have a front loader just take the kick panel off in front, make sure you remove the lint filter and the cover that goes up to the lint collector and you will see the thermal fuse. Make sure you unplug before doing this. Take the two screws out of the bottom of kick panel and than use a putty knife and push down and the panel will come right off. Hope this helps you out.
