I DON'T KNOW. PLEASE CHECK FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER FOR WASHER. IF OK, MOVE BREAKER TO OFF AND ON A FEW TIMES. LOOK TO SEE IF YOUR WASHER CONNECTION IS A 110V PLUG THAT IT IS
FIRMLY PLUGGED IN. THE DOOR SWITCH MAY BE LOOSE OR HAS FAILED. IF POSSIBLE LEAN ON THE
DOOR WHEN CLOSED TO SEE IF PANEL COMES ON.

Start with the basics. Double check your power and circuit breaker. Next there is a float in the bottom of the dish washer located inside make sure this is free and clear.

it sounds to me as though you may have a bare wire giving a direct short to the system.therefore by having a hot wire grounding out on the dishwasher body, it is running that current to the dishwasher body where if you touch the dishwasher you will recieve a shock.this also doesnt allow the electricity to go to where it is needed to power your appliance.

Circuit breaker tripped because of fault in dishwasher, which is why it no longer works. Sorry but I can not tell you what dish washer fault is.

Flashing light is reset by pressing two buttons in sequence 3-4 times, to reset your dishwasher press these buttons in sequence:

High temp wash-heated dry-high temp wash-heated dry

check to make sure you have power to the outlet, it should be located under the sink,, if you do not have power at the outlet then check the breaker in the breaker box.

Make sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced

Now, if you have confirmed that the unit is receiving power from the outlet, and the unit is still not responding, this will lead to a failed control board, or timer module. replace either the timer, or control board, in this case.

typically no reset buttons on dish washers? find the breaker that it is on turn it off with good force to make sure that if it were tripped you will be resetting it! then flip it back on
