Hello, I have a user who has a Dell laptop (Latitude D820 if that matters...) on a docking station connected via USB (through the docking station) to a LaserJet 1320. She's been set up this way for a few years and has been happily printing with zero problems. Unfortunately for no apparent reason about two weeks ago she is no longer able to print. When she sends a document to the printer it seems like it does not even try to send the document to the printer and just errors out in the print queue. If I print a config page or test page by holding buttons down on the printer it will print and if I hook the printer up to a different laptop it will print. It just does not print when a document is sent specifically from her laptop. I have tried uninstalling the printer and reinstalling it and the printer is detected by the laptop when it is hooked back up to the laptop as it reinstalls the printer automatically, but still no printing. I have upgraded and downgraded the printer drivers. I have swapped out USB cords and tried hooking up the printer via a parallel cable. I have tried different USB ports on both the docking station and the laptop. I have also tried different docking stations. She has no problems printing to networked printers in her area. I checked the USB ports in the Windows Device Manager and those look fine too.
May be its problem *********** board. install another computer if you saw detect a new hardware so your printer is OK or no detect hardware devise then fault your printer mother board, replace it and buy a new mother board.
Best luck
