I have bought a colour cartridge from Cartridge People which is a remanufactured one. I already have a black cartridge in which is working fine. The orange alarm light is flashing which the instructions say means the cartridge is not inserted properly. I have taken it out about 5 times and it can't go in any other way so it is inserted properly. On the Cartridge People website they suggest wiping the copper plates of the cartridge if it won't print, which I have also done. The alarm light is still flashing and it still won't print. What do I do?

Maybe that the chip itself is faulty. I would take back and ask for a replacement.
