When i scan a single document on my canon pixma mp750, it produces the same document in separate, multiple sections. how do i fix this?

One of two things I can suggest:

1. make sure you are not scanning in JPEG or TIFF format as these are typically single page documents only. PDF is your best option for scanning.

2. Check settings, as some scanning software has an option that you can turn on or off depending on whether you want a single file with all pages or multiple files each containing a page.

What you need to do is select the file type as .png instead of the default .jpg. A .png file will create one file with multiple pages.

You have an option to create a multipage (PDF) file or single images. Please select appropriate option.

Try going to devices list on your computer, select the canon icon, right click and select scan from menu.next, the scanner window will open ,start scan, save scanned item to your documents or desktop (somewhere easy to find) .open your Facebook profile, choose photos, and then upload from the file location where you saved the scanned item.

That's as common as rocks with inkjets, especially if Copy doesn't produce visible output. Fortunately the clean cycle gets results pretty often. You need to heed the printer humidity spec. and follow the manual's further actions for when 'Clean Head' doesn't work (typically cleaning its bedding and/or running some rubbing alcohol through via a handy empty cartridge.) Yes you can scan up to 30 files in one pdf , and you have to put documents in auto feeder (face up) and from the pc, scan menu, scan to files, select destination and extension.
That's all

you may have dirty glass on scanner or the feeder rollers are dirty or need replacement.

The supplied Canon software is horrible, but it can be done!

Launch ScanGearStarter, choose advanced tab and click preferences button, then select scan tab.
Untick box "Automatically quit ScanGear....." then click ok.
(This box being ticked totally prevents multipage single file scanning).

Now choose simple mode tab, select the document type, dpi and document size.
Now click the green "Multi Scan" button, place the document on the scanner glas and press next in the new window.

The page will be scanned and the ScanGear window will return, just click "Multi Scan" again and place next document, press next. Keep repeating until all pages are scanned, then close the ScanGear window.

This will bring up a third window showing thumbnails of each page, any of these pages can be deselected if required.
The other important step is to choose from the pull down list Saved as Type: "MultiPagePDF".

Choose the location for saving the file and click save.
