Using usb stick

First you will have either copy and pate the movie or download it to your usb drive

One of the benefits of putting files on a USB flash drive is that you can make any type of file portable.

This includes not only documents, spreadsheets and photos, but also media like video clips and movies.

If you have movies saved on your flash drive that you want to view, watching the movies directly from the USB drive is a simple process and can be achieved on almost any computer.

Connect your USB drive to the device on which you want to watch your movies.

This includes all USB-compatible computers, as well as some select television-compatible devices (like the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 or Sony Media Extender).

Launch the file explorer application on your device.

In Windows, access this utility by accessing the "Computer" application and then double-clicking the USB drive to display the files.

If you are trying to watch the movie files on a compatible television device, look for a "media," "device" or "USB input" application or button to bring up the file explorer.

Select the movie file you want to play.

In Windows, do this by double-clicking on the file.

The appropriate media-handling program should automatically launch and begin playing the movie automatically.

If you are using a television device, select the file from the list of compatible files in the device's internal explorer system.

hope this helps

When transfering the media onto the computer, all my videos are completely out of order, why is that so?

Yes - are you using file explorer to view files?
at top of file explorer screen
is a sort option
click on the column that states date modified and it will sort files in ascending or desending order.
It is probably sorting on alphabetical order on the file name at the moment.

save the file on the desktop or temp folder and install it.

5. Go back to the "select your operating system" drop down menu, and select "Microsoft Windows 7" - whichever version you are using, basic or home premium etc.

6. under the "Sort files by type" select "camera" . or you can directly expand "camera - 2 files" from the list of results for VGN-CR353 as you did before on step 3.

7. Download those two files (Camera capture utility and Webcam companion". Save the files and install them.

Now you are all set. Restart and enjoy your camera :-)

Hi I have nokia 7210 supernova...When i try to open the video file or anu music file it is showing an error "operation failed....". How to resolve that issue..

Try moving your video and audio files into another location and try playing them through Gallery not from the Player. It might be because of some sort of corruption in play list address handling so move them uinto another folder and try again.
If it doesn't resolve your problem I am afraid you'll have to reset your phone.

When creating a new email in Outlook 2007, if I click on the "To" button to pull up an address from my Contacts they are alphabetized by First Name. How can I get them listed by Last Name?

To setup up contacts by the person's last name. In Outlook, when you compose a new message, and then click the To or Ccbutton, the Contacts list may display names that are sorted by the contact's first name. Here's how you can change the list to display entries by the contact's last name.
Sort the Contacts list by the File As field
  1. Start Outlook.
  2. On the Tools menu, click E-mail accounts.
  3. Click View or change existing directories or address books, and then click Next.
  4. Click Outlook Address Book, and then click Change.
  5. Under Outlook Address Books, click Contacts: Mailbox -YourMailboxName, and then under Show names by, click File As (Smith, John).
  6. Click Close, and then click Finish.
Verify that the newly created contacts are filed in last name, first name order
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click the Preferences tab, and then click Contact Options.
  3. In the Default "File As" order list, click Last, First.
  4. Click OK twice.
  5. To view the new Contacts list sort order, restart Outlook.
NOTE If you want to display a particular contact in a different order than the rest of the Contact list, you can modify the File As field in individual contact cards. For example, you may want to sort some contacts by the Company field.

Sansa e260 memory card transfer issue

Attention all. To temporarily fix this, make sure you're in MSC mode, plug the mp3 into a computer and then right-click on the memory-card icon (E,F,G,H or whatever drive it tells you it is) and left-click Properties. Then run a check/fix function on it, and that should sort it out so that you can at least PLAY the music, though I still need to sort out the files because it's double-listed loads of them. Oh well... hope that helps.

Cannot connect UPnP

Hi, No expert but how I got UPnP to work fully on Archos 605 WiFi. WMP11 found the 605 and Authorized but the 605 never listed my PC under UPnp devices. Others on www seem to find WMP tricky so I gave up, I had Nero Home UPnp & Also Roxio Media (Came with blackberry) both Served UPnP to 605, 605 could see both listed under UPnP in Video, Audio & Photos. Could play all apart from Video! (Despite being able to play direct through File/Netwrok Browser) Anyway assumed Archos problem if these two did not work proplerly with Video. In desperation tried TVersity (Others talk about it a lot). All worked immediately, Video & all. So I would try this first if your have any sort of problems.
