Go to the link below for owner's manual. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=214&modelid=9429 Once you are on this page, click the "Drivers and Downloads" tab near the middle/right of the page. Next, click on the red letters that read "Product/Software Manuals." A new pop-up will appear displaying Canon. (NOTE: You may have to temporarily allow the pop-up.) At the bottom of this page, click on EOS_REBEL_K2.pdf and open. Then go to page 24. Good luck.

Canon also uses the low battery Icon as a generic error code. Try taking the lens off the camera. If this fixes the problem the lens needs a repair (most likely the aperture unit). If not then the camera needs the repair (either the shutter or dc-dc converter circuit).

SOURCE: how to replace the door latch on a canon rebel eos ti
The cameras film door has a very small phillips head screw inside the battery doors hinge. Its a pain to take out & replace if you hands are shakey for this screw is so small. Also installing the replacement hinge would be a little harder to install tha removing the broken one.
I hope this information will help you. A camera shop should be able to do it for free if you maybe purchase some items there. Most shops which are very small and privately owned shops will do this for you

One of the shutter blades is faulty or is being obstructed. Either that or you're using flash to take pictures but using too fast a shutter speed, most SLR's have a flash synch speed of 1/60 or 1/125 of a second.
The first problem will need a professional repair, but it may be a fairly straightforward one. The second problem would require that you read the user manual for both the camera and flashgun.
