Question about RCA Universal Remote Control
I Have a Time Warner remote and the only thing I have found that works is to search for the code and at one point you will see the volume bar pop on the t.v. when that happens - ock the code in and you will have to push the mute button to turn the volume up and the video source button to turn the volume down.

Universal remote codes DO NOT WORK with Scott. I've searched high and low for a universal remote that can, and they don't exist. You have to use a Scott or ILO remote for a Scott TV. You can buy replacement KC01-B1 (or KC01-B3 which also works and is now the new substitute) remotes on eBay (few and far between) for about ~$35. One just sold for $39.99 yesterday. Or you can buy some here, if you don't mind paying through the nose ($59.95 is the cheapest I've found outside of eBay): http://www.newremotecontrol.com/Mfrs/OtherBrands/Def/dyn_part_data.php?catnum=E7501-056104

True most all the new lcd panels use a new code that no remote has.
about all you will be able to find is the on/off code if you scan for it.
