XDA Orbit Help

XDA Orbit will turn on and display in red text at the top of the screen "IPL1.25.0001" and directly underneath it "SPL 1.25.0000" it won`t go any further. I have tried hard and soft reset but it doesn`t make a difference. Any Ideas?? Thanks

Xda orbit, screen cracked but display ok yet touch function not working?

Digitizer glass is broken, LCD underneath is OK. Replacing the digitizer is tricky even if you get the right one. Often just as cheap to buy the complete replacement digitizer+LCD for around $20 shipped on eBay.

AFTER FLASHING MOBILE DEAD POWER IS`NT ON.

It sounds like you've had problems writing a custom ROM to your phone. You have done it correctly using the CID unlock. Are you using the same WM6 ROM that you have done before?

Firstly, turn off your XDA Orbit.
Then hold down the voice recorder button on the left side of the phone
Then press and hold the power button on the right side of the phone, whilst still holding the voice button on the left.

This should get you into "bootloader mode" which will display a screen with red, green, blue and white stripes - yu should now be able to instlal your ROM using the RRU from the computer with USB connection

If that is not possible, you can install the ROM from a microSD card if you first format the card into Fat32 file system from your computer, then copy the NBH file from your ROM to the microSD card. You will need to rename the NBH file from the ROM to ARTEIMG.NBH for this to work.

Enter bootloader mode and you should see a prompt to press the volume button downwards to start the ROM installation process.

See this page for more information on the MicroSD ROM installation:

Xda orbit shows IPL 1.25.0001 and SPL 1.25,0000 whta does it mean?

Have you tried pressing the reset button at the bottom of the phone again? This is the bootloader screen you are in - this is not what you need in order to use the phone.

Pressing the reset button on the left side of the phone should allow your phone to start up normally.

XDA Orbit

Unfortuantely, due to the way the 3 network operates, it is not possible to use it with the 3 network. An unlocked XDA Orbit will work with all network SIMs other than the network 3 (Hutchingson 3G)
