Check your AC Adapter for voltage output using a multi-meter. If voltage is lower than stated replace Adapter. When replacing adapter verify Amperage is same before purchase.
What's your laptop model? Not all ac adapters work. Before purchasing, you should make sure the current, voltage and dc connector size match with your original adapter.Professional store for laptop AC adapters:http://www.chargerbuy.com
The computer doesn't need any drivers to recognize an AC Adapter. If you have purchased the correct AC Adapter for your laptop then it should just work when you plug it in. If it does not then my guess is either you have received a faulty AC Adapter or the DC Jack which you plug into in the back of the laptop is bad. I am assuming your battery is dead and when you plug it in and turn it on nothing happens? You can also try taking the battery out and try to power it on with the AC Adapter plugged in.
The Dell Latitude D610 takes a PA-10 or PA12 AC Adapter. It's 65W or 90W
For 90 watt Adapter the output voltage on your AC Adapter label should read 19.5V and 4.62A At least that's what the Dell brand reads so it should be close to that.
If you have the original adapter simply purchase a generic adapter with the same connection type, amp/current and voltage. Otherwise it will show on the products sticker, normally with the model and serial number, what input the ac/dc adapter uses. Im assuming from the information given you need to purchase a 9 volt adapter with an amp or current rating of 500mA or 0.5 amps. I hope this helps. Good luck.
It is depends on your scanner power adapter and where u purchase the scanner from. Here if your scanner is from US then the adapter power input should be 100-120V 60Hz AC, if your scanner is from Euro, UK or Australia, the it should be 200-240V 50Hz AC, while if your scanner is from others place that not listed above then it should be 100-240V 50-60Hz AC. But the best way is look at your adapter itself, u'll notice the power input and output from the adapter sticker.
If you lost your adapter then be sure to purchase 1 that can output a 12 VDC, 340mA, 4.22W adapter to the scanner.
Greetings jack71471, there are a couple options to obtain a replacement AC adapter for your Durabrand DVD player. One option is to purchase a universal adapter from a store such as Radio Shack. The other option is to buy a dedicated 9 volt AC replacement adapter from a couple sources on eBay. Just do a search for "PDV-709 adapter" and you will find some AC adapters and 12 volt car adapters as well. If you choose the universal replacement option, make sure you bring the player and adapter with you so the salesperson can configure the settings and polarity to match the original adapter. That is unless you are confident enough to set it yourself, in which case you can purchase a universal adapter most anywhere as long as the current rating ( rated in milliamps or "ma") is equal to or greater than the original. Best of luck to you.
