Question about Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook
I have this problem: I recently get two gargantuans Acer Aspire 9810 (20" screen laptop) for my office. Two months ago one of the Laptop started having troubles, suddenly it freeze and the screen fades into white. After rebooting the screen turns black (no acer log, no bios information, just black) and some vertical color lines appears. I try hooking an external monitor and the system was right. Then exchanging the screen with the good one and the screen was good too. This is pretty strange problem, coz the video cable is used with the integrated cam and the cam works fine. There's almost none information about this laptops in internet and the warranty is not an option for me. I'm from venezuela and i get the laptops with a reseller. Please some help. Please.
Our laptops screen will only show everything with a red screen. How can I fix this?

Hi No otto,
On the bottom row of keys, you will see one marked Fn, in a different color. Hodl that and look at your top row of keys. Should be one with a laptop screen, and a monitor. The little graphics will be the same color as the Fn key. Tap that once, wait, see if the screen comes to life. Usually that key is set to choose "Just laptop screen, just external monitor, or both", with each tap.
