try leaveing it on stand by mode for 24 hours do not tuch the tv at all or you will have to do it all over a gain it might just be your back up battery is dieing it might reboot its self if you leave it for 24 hours on stand by mode ok

you can open it the battery compartment its on the back at the bottom just puul it out making pressure on the arrow marks. the original remote cost its 29.00 at partstore and the part # is 8201803680L just incase you need to order a new one
