Print error code 50 on a brother dcp-330c

I keep getting the above error on the printer model. I have no guide, so have no idea what this code means, there is not paper stuck in, the cartridges are full and there doesn't appear to be anythin wrong with it.

Error code #50 refers to a paper jam. Although you may not see any paper in the feed channel/chute, there is either a small fragment of paper or dust interfering with your machine's ability to feed. A good way to ensure there's no blockage is to blow it out with compressed air including the rear panel where dust/dirt tends to hide. Short of that, you can try to reset the error code by disconnecting all cords (including power cord) for 10 minutes or so and upon reconnecting, the fault should clear but keep in mind, if there is an obstruction, the error will return. Hope this clarifies you error message. Best of luck!

I am getting error Unable to Clean 50 My brother printer model is DCP -330C..Anyone got any idea??Plz help

I'm afraid there is no simple solution to this problem.
Error codes 50 and 51 refer to problems with the purging mechanism - some of the whirring and clicking noises you hear when the machine self cleans or starts up are it purging ink from the print head. Through some very clever mechanics, the machine uses the paper feed motor (running in the opposite direction to normal) to perform purging.
Possible causes listed in the Brother Service Manual for this error code range from "simple" things like a misaligned cam, to complex problems with the main control board. However, whatever it is, dismantling these machines isn't staright forward and parts are very diffciult to obtain and very, very expensive, so much so that 99 times out of a 100, it isn't cost effective to repair.
You could approach a Brother service agent, but it's highly probably that they will charge you more than buying an equivalent brand new machine.
Sorry.

My Brother DCP 330C says " Unable to print 4F" What does this mean and what can i do to fix it please??...... Thank you Kindest reagrds Milli

Hi millih,

An error coded 4F means that there is a mechanical problem with the printer, usually, "unable to print means one of two things. Firstly an empty cartridge, secondly a full absorbing pad. I am guessing that the latter is not the priblem as the code would be #46, so if the ink cartridges are empty, get them replaced or refilled then disconnect the machine from the power for about 5 minutes, then reconnect and it should reset itself.

Brother DCP 330C

This COULD BE that there is some paper stuck in the dcp. Open cover and try to see if there is some paper left in the machine. I ve noticed, that -seeing from behind!- on the right side paperpieces are stuck and disturb the disk (foil) which give the printer info what to do. Open cover and try to look into the edges (seeing from the front: its the left side -where the modell name is printed) In some cases this means that the purgecamshaft is defective.
