The internal control unit will not let the bulb operate if the battery is not up to voltage. To recharge the battery, you will need a 12VDC 300mA adapter. It will take 12 to 15 Hours to charge. If that doesn't work, replace the battery

I dont know which model you have. My sons 94 caprice classic fully loaded he got used at an auction. Didnt know it at the time but it was one a cop car. Look on the front of engine under the crank case there should be something called an optispark on it. It has four wires coming out of either side and they run back to your plugs. Thats what was happening to my sons

as long as it will load up you wont lose anything, but the screen is damaged.

Green light flashed, turned red, lens would not open. Put in new rechargeable batteries, still nothing. Someone here suggested to try regular AA cheapie batteries. IT WORKED!

Gosh alright so the front little screen or the inner large screen doesnt work? I'm going through the same thing right now and yeah it really sucks. Taking the battery out does nothing all you have to do is go to your local verizon wireless store and theyll try to fix it or replace your phone

or you can go to an at&t stor nd i think theyl do it fo free but idk i whent up der us my fone wasnt working nd they sed theyd replace da fone fo free as long as der was no water damage(to chek for water damage take of da battery nd therd be a small dot if its pink ders water damage otherwise itd be white)

Try going to the junk yard its gonna get expensive
