Please I have a RICOH FT 4622 photocopy machine which works perfectly
for 1 and a half year now. There is power but cannot photcopy..... an
error on the LCD display E - 1. Please can you assist me in trobleshoot
my machine? I'v check all basics things but all seems ok.

The code you are getting is actually E-101 there is not enough space on display to display the whole code so in future if you get a code again press the # key and you can see the whole code .This code is an exposure lamp code , so either your exposure lamp is blown , or got lose connections , or you moved the machine and the scanner klimed off its rails and cant go back to the hime position .Try to enter the service mode by pressing yellew c 107 and hold down blue c all in sequence ,the number 1 will star to flash , press 5 then # 810 # then 0 # switch on and of and see if it works other wise send me a reply and ill see how i can help you .thanks

Many thanks, my RICOH copier is functioning well after attempting your
solution. Connection got lose so after fixing them machine is happy
than ever.
