Unfortunately, Virgin mobile will not allow these songs to be played due to the fact that they dont have the copyright licenses. its pretty crazy. you cannot download music from limewire, or any source like that. you need to purchase the music, and according to the advisor that i spoke with, they prefer you buy it through them, go figure.... im looking into other possible sources like tunebite. that will re-record all of your files, and make them your own... that way, they are not copyright protected. I will share after i know if it works!

OK! got the solution to this problem... getting around those damn copyright problems... you can now download songs from your favorite source (limewire....ect...) and download a free program called tunebites. you can find it using google search. what it does, is takes all your music, converts them to mp3, and rerecords them so they are considered your music. (basically the same as recording something with your microphone on your computer...) You dont lose any quality of the music at all. after you do all of this, you can drag the new music from tunebites, onto your desktop, or a folder that you have designated on the desktop, and simply drag and drop into your media card reader. I personally have a usb media card reader that i picked up for 6 dollars at walmart. once you have that copied onto your card, go to my computer, and open whatever drive it is. when that is completed, move the songs into the folder named my music. tada... work completed. simply put the card into your phone, and enjoy all your favorite music right on your x-tc.

You have to put your Micro-SD Card in a Card Reader and plug it into your PC (I have a USB Adapter that came with the Micro-SD Card).

Once you can see the Micro-SD card on your PC, then just drag and drop .mp3 tracks (Not .wma) into the "My Music" folder that was created when you "Formatted" the Card using the Phone Menu.

Note: You CANNOT put your Music into folders within this folder, for some reason the phone will not see them. They must ALL be in the root folder "My Music"

Can I buy additional memory? My SanDisk is full. Also, I have tried to download an album and can't because the device thinks it already has it, but I sure can't find it.

Yes, you can add more memory. The e250 has a slot for a microSD card, and those cards come in various sizes up to 2GB. You might see larger cards, but those are actually microSDHC cards and won't work in the e250.

You can load those cards up with music, as long as you put it into a folder named "MUSIC." Videos and photos must reside in the internal memory.

As to downloading an album, check the file names as well as the album and artist names embedded in the file. Since you didn't specify the computer and operating system, I can't tell you specific ways of doing that. On Windows, Media Player should show you that information, though.

I have a UTStarcom Shuttle. I am trying to play to play music

Put a microSD memory card (limit 4GB) in the phone. Take a few pictures and make a short video .Use the phone menu to transfer the pictures an video to the external memory card. Use the media player to watch your recorded video. Try to play music and you will get a no content found message. Now, turn off the phone, remove the memory card and place it into an adapter that will connect to a computer by usb port. Windows should recognize it as a removable drive. If you look at that drive in Explorer you will see 3 folders. Pictures are in my_pix. Videos are in my_flix. Transfer .mp3 files to the my_music folder. When you put the card back into the phone you can play the mp3 files with the media player. Yes, I did this and it works.

Problem getting video to expandable memory/sansa e250 to be recog

The Sansa will not play videos off the microSD card. It will play music, but not show videos or photos.

To get the videos onto the Sansa, use the Sansa Media Converter. If you don't have the SMC, you can download the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0

My m25 doesn't load with a memory card (2Gb)

I think that the M25 only supports 1GB memory cards. (I've never tried a larger one in mine) Motorola's website only says up to 1GB.
