Most tv's code can be unlocked by pressing 7777......it will say invalid code... press 7777..... it will say invalid code again......press 7777. then it will unlock. sony's code is h.e.l.p. which is 4357

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
There is an "on" positon and an "off" postion, but in between there is a "lock" psition (keeps the same song playing so tiny tots don't change song). Make sure to push "slide" all the way to "on" position.
I can't find my owners manual on my Polaroid tv--but while working with the remote--pressed menu and scanned over to parental controls and mine takes a password. Maybe that is what is wrong with yours--Duh on my part-but hope this might help you.
LOL. After reading the manual, you will find that the process to unlock is: Press the power button (or the "1" or "9 "key) then the left soft button, then the "S*" key.
