98% CHANCE you have a color wheel going bad--fan like or grinding noise.

This model may use 2 different wheels--label on far right side and or back will have full model and version number.

If the wheel shatters--which it can, turning at over 14,000 rpm the set will shut off.

Once we id the full model number I can get you a part number---lots of places on the internet sell these for 90-130 dollars.

Replacement is not real hard--takes about 40 minutes--and there are many places on the internet that have written and VIDEO instructions for doing this.

Shops are going to charge 300 or more parts and labor for this.....

Get me full model number and version and I will try to get you the correct part number.

If this information helps you, rate this solution as I do this here for free.

Tv turn off by it sejf temp light comes on

Hello,

How long Ago did you replace your lamp? If this is not a lamp issue, it can most likely be a fan or thermostat malfunction (easy to replace, but hard to diagnose) If your lamp is new I would check around for any fans not spinning correctly. If they all seem to be working I would proceed to replace the heat sensor/thermostat.

Hope this helps!

Hi guys i have a Mitsubishi WD-65C9 DLP that gives me nothing but a few seconds of audio before shutting off with a blinking red light. ERROR 61

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Replaced lamp in my HD 61Z575, but when I turn on my TV, nothing happens (no fan noise). After ~10 seconds, the Light LED starts blinking rapidly. Could it possibly be the brand new lamp? Ballast?

The old lamp was in there before the fan work?U replaced the lamp u put the door back on did u make sure the safety latch is off and tightly closed with the the lamp door. The continue blinking LED light does it make alot of clicking noises too.Yes,then the Ballast board it is dead too.The Ballast board only job are to help the projection lamp to ignite to work.

2000 S 500 M Benz. I have a radiator fan which made lots of noice as its motor worn out , I replaced the entire fan , but now the new fan doesnt work 1.check the fan on dc and it works 2. all fuses are...

first off all put the old one back on and then run engine up too temperature to see if it works ,if that one works then you know its connection problem with the new one like a multiplug connection in the wrong place but at least you will know you have a working system ,if the old one doesnt work then you will know its a problem with a temperature sensor or a relay ,
