Vertical adjustment on front binding. Salomon S810 Ti

I have no problem with the boot size or din setting but is there a general rule for the vertical setting on the front binding?
I recently bought the skis second hand and am incapable of purchasing anything without totally dismantling whatever it may be! So here i am searching for a little advice before i tear a tendon!
Am probably top end of intermediate skiing capability if that helps,
Alor, any info would be much appreciated
Cheers

If you can adjust vertical pressure then you should adjust it as follows.
Put a piece of normal paper (like A4 printer paper) on the toe bit (and heel for that matter) and clip in the boot so that the paper sits between the boot sole and the binding base surface. You should be able to pull the paper out from between the boot and binding without ripping the paper, but obviously without there being a noticeable gap.
If in doubt take it to a ski tech, a bit of cash might save you a broken leg! They might even be able to help you or advise free of charge.

What are the foot lbs for the 0-5 settings?

The 0-5 lbs settings you're referring to are related to ski bindings. Let me explain:

DIN Setting (Release Force):
The DIN setting, short for Deutsches Institut f?r Normung (German Institute for Standardization), is the industry-adopted scale of release force settings for ski bindings.

It determines how easily your ski bindings will release your boots during a fall or other forces.

The correct DIN setting depends on factors such as your skiing ability, weight, height, and boot sole length.
To find your recommended DIN setting, you can use a DIN calculator that takes these factors into account. DIN Calculator - Ski Bindings - Ski Equipment - Mechanics of Skiing (mechanicsofsport.com)

Brake Width:
The arms attached to the heel piece of your ski bindings are called brakes.
Ski brakes are designed to stop your skis after release so you can retrieve them quickly and prevent them from posing a danger to other skiers.
The waist width of your skis determines the ski brake width (the distance between the two brake arms).

For example, if your skis are 80mm wide at the waist, you'll need bindings with a brake width of at least 80mm (preferably no wider than 95mm).

Choosing an appropriate brake width ensures that the brakes clear the edges of your skis and deploy properly when your ski comes off. How to Choose Ski Bindings & DIN Setting Chart ' evo

Remember, always have a certified ski technician mount and adjust your ski bindings to ensure they operate safely.

Picture adjustment

if your vertical section of your mother board has a vertical adjustment trimmer, adjust it to reach your desired vertical size..if doesn\'t have, increase the resistance of the resisitor only connecting from cold ground to the negative of the e.cap and the positive pin of e.cap connecting to the line 1 of the vertical focusing coil. the common value of the resistor you would focuse is 1ohm, try add with .5 or 1 ohm depending with vertical size result.

Salomon 2005 kiana fitting with burton lexa binding- size advice

A huge proportion of footwear of all sorts are made using sizes taken from the standard Italian last. It has become a sort of tradition because Italian shoes have been world reknown for elegance - as a nation the Italians have notoriously narrow feet. People who don't have "Italian" feet usually need to buy shoes based on width fit in order to achieve comfort and in doing so will often end up buying shoes that are up to three sizes too long..

Add into this unsatisfactory situation the fact that not all manufacturers cut on the generous side, as with clothes, and the further problem when shoes are produced in metric and then converted into British or American sizes that rarely coincide, providing low cost manufacturers a further opportunity for meanness and rendering the more expensive footwear generally superior as being much closer to the size printed on the shoes or boots. Buying shoes and boots these days with preconceived notions about what size you need is a pathway to unnecessary expense and discomfort and much disappointment.

Only expensive children's shoes, exclusive brands, a very few specialist and bespoke shoes are available in a variety of width fittings for each size, leather shoes do have the benefit of "bedding in" but shoes and boots made of synthetic materials rarely do and if they do it is a slow process.
People who must buy mailorder often order two, three or more pairs at once in order to make comparisons.

If you are not in a position to do that I suggest you either have your feet measured for width and length or obtain the instructions to measure them yourself and then provide the measurements to the shoe or boot supplier or manufacturer and request they supply boots to fit the width of your obviously non-Italian feet.

How to install salomon spx 45 bindings?

Your bindings have a "sliding yoke" system which means that a plate is screwed to the board using four screws and the the binding is mounted to the plate. Once this is done you can loosen the allen key and move the binding around on top of the plate to get your final placement.

How to adjust vertical size my hitachi c29-r30sp

You could go into the user menu and look around to see if it has an adjustment. If not you will have to access the service menu for your tv. There may be a setting to adjust vertical size there. If that still isn't possible you may have to open the tv and look for a pot or a switch that can control the vertical adjustment. It may be by the vertical output circuitry. This could also mean that you have a defective component in the vertical circuit or inadequate voltage to that circuit.

Picture is cut off on the bottom of my Hitachi 57F500

Verical position is hard to adjust and is in service menu. A service manual will get you there, but you might get lucky with the vertical size adjustment. If you open the front of the TV, the vertical size is adjusted with a knob on the deflection board. Remove the speaker grille and take off the access panel. You will see two knobs, one horizontal and one vertical. Be careful, those red wires have 30,000 volts on then, don't touch anything but those knobs. If its just an adjustment, the v-size knob will fix. Set it so ESPN ticker is just above the bottom of the screen. *Service mode - the manual tells little but entering is done by "press and hold the input button, press the power button, release both after you hear HV come up" .. the v-pos parameter is in there, but this manual doesn't say where or how to adjust, procede at your own risk. If you get into trouble, pull the power so you don't save any settings. I believe you just navigate through the menus to find the parameter and use arrows to adjust. Enter may save. Sorry the service manual I have tells nothing much.
