Mitsubishi 45" Projection TV

I am having this strange flickering problem with my projection TV ever since a power outage in my area...any ideas? I have a full color picture but it flickers and there are lines that appear in different places on screen clear across the screen...what gives? It's almost as if there's a short or something. Thoughts?

You may need to replace the color wheel or the power outage may have damaged the DMD board too

Mitsubishi VS-45603 had power outage and when it came back on it says TV is locked. How do I unlock it?

Go into the 'Menu' -> then 'Setup' -> then 'A/V Connections'.

You should see an option called 'Locked to Input' switch it to 'No' and your problem should be solved!

Green light continues to flicker, TV will not turn on or off.

Unplug it for 30 minutes. Then try again.

Let me know and I'll check the service manual. I've got a 65511.

Projection TV keeps shutting down

Good Day;

Sounds like you have a bad green picture tube that has failed. To check this out; remove front speaker grill, remove small panel, you will see three CRT's (pictue tubes) sticking down, remove the little board on the middle tube then restore power. If TV stays on more then likely the CRT is bad but not always the driver on board could also be bad, check voltages.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

Mitsubishi WD-52327 Picture flickers and goes blue

In your case I've seen this and it was a electrical issue between the DLP fan and board. The tv could have a problem with the digital tuner and not kicking a code due to low voltage ... it isn't expensive to fix, just hard to diagnose.

Do you smoke? The fans suck in smoke and it gets tar build up on the connections and that causes this in some cases too.

Try Re-soldering the vertical yoke connections and vertical output IC. This is quite common with this model.
