My Dirt Devil ultra vision will not **** from base

My Dirt Devil ultra vision will not **** from the floor base and the brush on the bottom will not roll. I can use the attachments fine but the base wont ****. what is the problem?

If you have fixed the suction at the bottom, a new tight belt is important when vacuuming carpeted floors. Belts lose elasticity from being stretched which is why they need replaced frequently.

No Wind Coming Out of Dirt Devil
The suction hole will never have wind coming out of it, it is for suction. To switch from floor to hose, turn the control knob labeled floor / hose.

My dirt devil just did the same thing to me. I cleaned the filter super good, checked all the hoses for clogs and the brush for tangled strings. Plugged it in and it worked! Yay!!! Hope this works for you too. Linda
