I accidentally deleted all my emails from my inbox (and then the trash) thinking I was deleting my sent ones - can anyone help?

Step 1. Run Emails on your device.
Step 2. Go to Inbox or Sent and tap "Edit". Select emails and tap "Trash", or "Move" > "Trash".

Step 3. Go to Trash folder and clean all emails.

have you checked your TRASH folder first?
When you first delete your emails, they will disappear from your INBOX, and go to your TRASH box.

If you have NOT opened your TRASH and deleted anything all the ones you accidentlly blew away should be in there.

The messages that you delete go into your trash folder.

1. Simply go into your trash folder in your email.
2. Click on the boxes of the messages you want to undelete. This will place check marks in the boxes.
3. Then click on Move and select Inbox. The messages will be moved to your inbox.

Click on "Deletingand Recovering Mails," then choose "Restore Lost or DeletedEmails." ? Read the instructions on how torecover emails that were deleted within the last 24 hours. Complete the requiredform and hit "Submit." You will be prompted once emails are restored.

You may be using the All-New Yahoo Mail.

Please change to the Classic version, Click "Options" then "Mail Classic".

If you accidentally deleted an email and it now resides in your "trash" folder you can move it a folder of your choosing.First click the box next to the email, then go to the drop down menus above the email and select "move". Choose what folder you want it in and you are done.

If you emptied your trash than you can not recover the email. You could try calling Yahoo and see if they still have a copy of it on their server backups, I doubt they would do it for free.

I believe you have your box set to delete the emails to quick go into settings and turn that off

try to highlight the email you want to delete and press shift+delete this will permanently delete the email.

If this solution works that means your trash folder is already corrupted.

You might want to use different email client like Eudora, MS Office Outlook, Thunderbird.

You should be able to get them back from the deleted items folder on yahoo mail. It is usually listed by your inbox/sent items. If you deleted them from the deleted items folder, then there is no way to recover them.
