Hi, My IP90 won't turn on. I tested the power supply with a meter & output seems fine. What do you suggest I do next?
Do you get light of any sort? What is the switch set to at the back for voltage if you have this? Post back please lilacgerry xxx
Obviously as you have noted when the unit is moved it does turn on, and yes this would seem to suggest a piece of hardware or a connection that has come loose or is only just making contact when you move the unit. Does the unit stay on permanently when it does go on or just go off agian? It can also suggest the actiual power supply is on the way out. Personally, i have never taken apart one of your units, but if you deside to, i would first contact a printer repairer, tell them the issue, and if they agree it is the power supply, ask for a free quote on a repalcement, and while on the phone, ask for their input on other issues it could be if it is not the power supply. Most printers have a plate over the power supply area with screws but yours may be different. Be advised it is at your own risk when you open a unit as sometimes you may not find what you wish or a part may inadvertantly come off or also cease to function. I did open my friends canon and we tightened her power supply on the inside but this may not be your issue. If youare not confident, take it to a repairer and get a free quote. lilacgerry xxx
Hi, as an added afterthought actually, did you cheack the usb connection cable to the pc, or to the unit itself if it is attached to a pc (this will not help if it is a standalone unit). bye for now lilacgerry xxx

No lights at all. Actually when I twist the unit & wave it around, for no apparent reason it comes on. Any ideas how to take it apart & look for sloppy connections? It's got to be simple. Ha!
Thanks!
