My dv2175ea power inlet faulty

Most power cord ports are soldered directly to the mother board. Open this one up and see if it is a separate part or not. If it is, you could probably just replace the small part, but my bet is that it would take an entire system board replacement.

I have a philips 30pw8420/37 that will not turn on at all. no matter how long i leave it unplugged or how many times i try to unplug and re plug, the tv will do nothing at all. no error lights anywhere. so...

begin with the power supply board, check for blown up fuse, work your way up to the power mosfet, its the part thats being bolted to an aluminum heatsink, check for drain/source shorts, if confirmed replace it with the same part number, check also the secondary side of the power supply board, look for open current fuses, they look like a small (TO-92 package) transistor but have only two pins, if there is continuity it is good, otherwise replace it with the same rating, hope this helps

My Panasonic Viera TH-42pz700u will not turn on, no red lights at all. I was out of town for a few days to come home to this problem. I replace the power supply board and still nothing.

Good day sir, hi, at this point, you have no choice but to bring it to a service center, replacing the power supply board is not the faulty part, you may need to measure voltages, from the ac mains to the board and to its power output to the entire TV. There are several possible fault part;
  1. the power cord
  2. the power switch
  3. the ac inlet that accepts the power cord to the board.
If these things are thouroughly checked then you have no choice but to get professional help from the service center or dealer.

Kde37xs955 sony with sound but no pic

This tv uses two power supplies. Do you hear a high pitch squeal? If so replace the small G power supply. If not make sure fans turn freely and finally change the large power G board. Look for obvious hot spots and swollen caps before buying board as the small bd. is approximately 129.00 and the large even higher. Part numbers on stamp on each board.

Hope this helps: Sam Farrell

Power board part number

It's unclear which board you are referring to, so I'll include the likely two.

Parts 4120-6201-05 and 4120-6202-05 are both labelled "Power Supply (PU1)". I believe this is likely the board you are referring to. It is the small orange board in the top-back of the printer. It is unclear why there are two part numbers for it. However, I suspect they may both be for the same type of board with one containing optional, upgraded components.

Part 4120-0109-04 is labelled "PWB Assy (PWB-A)". I am assuming this means power board assembly. It is the small board in the back of the printer, in the lower-left (looking at it from the back). This does not look like it would be called a power board. It looks more like a logic board.

The ITC222 chassis actually has two different boards that are related to the power supply.
(1) Main power filter board #MIS222E0000.00
(2) Power supply #PP222E0000.37

The first board is a small board where the power cord enters. The second board is the large board that the small board plugs into.

I9900 will not power up at all

Make sure the power cord is plugged into a live outlet. If it still will not power up check the power supply. I have heard those power supplies go bad and they can be replaced.
