Lg tv 50lf6100 black screen Screen is black after turning it on sometimes the logo will show for a brief second and if I turn all the lights off I can see the picture but it flashes on and off

The LCD and the screen are bad and the built in LCD has stopped working and needs replacement. It would be more easier and cheaper to buy another TV then to try and repair the current TV that you have that's broken.

Fixing smart tv

I would consider getting a quote for repair. Sometimes it is something simple, other times it is more expensive to fix rather than buy a new one. I say get a quote, because in the long run a qualified repair shop can figure out what what needs to be replaced, rather than spending money on parts and hoping you found the broken component. If you can get your hands on a model that has a cracked screen, for example, it may be worth it to try to swap parts.

The equivalent Samsung model today costs $380.

My tv screen went completely black

If its worth fixing depends on age of set and what it cost.

The place to begin is someone needs to open the set and check a few things------the click is a mechanical relay coming on and likely going right back off.

The problem could be minor or major.

You might want to begin by calling local shops and see what they charge for an estimate of repairing----should tell you if you want to proceed or move on and replace this set.

SCREEN FROM INSIDE LOOKS CRAcKED

Sorry the tv not repairable only can be replacing the whole LCD picture screen panel. Not worth reparing, because of limited production of the LCD picture screen panel and 90% important to the tv functions,by replacing the picture screen panel will cost the same as a new tv,because the only placed u can buy the LCD screen panel are the tvs corporatinon themselves only. This tv only worth as a salvages tv for it electonic boards for parts only, not worth as a whloe tv anymore.

You need to take in the TV for repair. It needs to have the screen replaced. It might not be worth fixing since the screen nearly costs the same as a new TV. If it was damaged by accident warranty might not cover the replacement of the screen.

Screen doesn't turn on!

This is usually due to bad capacitors in the montior, something a good computer repair or TV repair shop could fix. The caps can be replaced.

If the monitor is a smaller one, like 17-19 inch, it might not even be worth fixing if the cost is too high. Usually the 22" and larger cost a bit more and might be worth fixing.
