When resistor on a board burns out it is because a something else down the line caused it. It would be better to replace board that try to replace the resistor. Rus

I have a Bryant gas furnace model 394GAZ036125. After a heating cycle, blower motor shuts off, then cycles 2 times for approximately 2 seconds each cycle. What could be wrong ?

It's probably something going on with the limits. If the limits open, the control board assumes the unit has overheated, and brings on the blower to cool it down. Check all limit connections. As well as the connections on the board. Limits are the least expensive so you are right in changing them first, and there should be more than 1/ see schematic. If not the limits then it may be the control board but in 15-16 yrs I've not seen that. Might try(safely), wiggling the control wires at each limit, or tapping them with the end of a plastic handle, and trying to simulate a fault. Hope this helps!

My GE timer, model 15132 has stopped working. I can see that resistor R2 on the circuit board has fried (it's black). Anyone know the value of this resistor?

Usually if you look close, several parts have burn or blackened area at point of solder.
This indicates that multiple parts are affected... replace timer.
Otherwise, there is no schematic for these types of digital timers that shows the value of parts.
Following resources have images of similar problem, and similar timers.

How to replace a burn out resistor with no colour codes

You will need the schematic. Resistor values are sometimes forgiving but a resistor will burn due to an excess of current caused by something else in the circuit. So even by replacing the resistor you will not necessary solve the problem but you can try. Schematics are often found for free on the net. good luck

What is the value of a resistor, location is RY801S. It is on the convergence board with a flyback. Akai projection TV model# PT4250A, thanks for listening!

I have a 50" Samsung DLP Rear-Projection HDTV that has the RY801S location number on my Power Board. The Power schematic shows a resistor with value 8.2M@1/2W

if r 11 is bad you should really check the bearing on the tub you will probably find it to be bad or going bad causing the moter to pull more amps causing r 11 to burn out.

Magnavox 27" TV- Burned Capacitor

R403 would usually denote a resistor and not a capacitor.

Capacitors do fail but usually don't burn out in such a way but resistors do, usually because something has happened elsewhere in the circuit that overloads the resistance. I have never seen a burned capacitor but I have seen resistors glowing with heat and some white hot until they virtually evaporate blackening nearby components.

I suggest you take another closer look at the circuit board...
