The system is no longer reading any disk. Has my driver gone out?

If the CD manually loads correctly, the pickup(laser has gone bad) and no longer has enough power left to read the disc the TOC, (table of contents), showing no disc on the display. If you're interested in a repair, please contact me through my website, audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

may be your disk drive is gone bad. you just need to try using lens cleaner for disk drive or try replacing it.

and for your cant get online problem. may be ISP is not working or drivers for LAN or wifi are accidently gone. So try checking these thing out.

The disk is mechanical as such it gets easily damaged. If the damage  appears it no longer be removed, it will only get worse till you disk is completely dead. This is what happened to your disk.
Sorry, nothing can be done to save it, it and the data was carrying are gone.

check your disk for scratches etc and make sure it is clean. Then, using the disk, reformat the hard disk and re-install from there. DONT take the disk out of the drive unless the installation program asks you too. Once the install program releases control and you have entered any names and passwords, then you can remove the disk. Once everything is finished, make sure you re-install your mainboard drivers next. If you no longer have this disk, you can download them from the PC's manufacturer or the mainboards manufacturer.

It might be either a driver problem or your disk drive dying. Try going to the Fantom website to get and install new driver. Be sure to back up the old drivers first when asked! If this does not work, then your drive might have worn out and you may need to buy a new one.

Try getting your recovery DVD's out --- put Disk 1 into the drive; choose "Install Applications and drivers" --- click Next and follow the directions.

FWIW i found a AA 5630 in the trash that had no HDD. I did not need Acer recovery disks and you may not either. Pick whatever OS you like then add the drivers you need that you by downloading from acer. Because i dislike the proprietary software the laptop companys provide, I just extract the drivers only, from the executables provided by Acer to a folder on my desktop then i use the device manger to load the driver. Long story longer, i torrented my current OS, salvaged a 5gig HDD from another discarded notebook to use for a tester, loaded it with the Sept edition of XPlite (visit the Nlite webpage), unrar-ed then installed the drivers from the driver programs and this Acer notebook is fantastic. If i had the original disks i would choose not to use them, unless whoever happens to read this can give me a reason i should.

yes i had the same problem and its to do with a faulty bluray lens..the solution is to contact sony if the ps3 is in the warranty period..hope u get urs running soon!!

Re-install the right driver for your device corresponding to your's operating system ! your system had missed the driver.
