Miele G641 SC Plus Drain /inlet light 4 short 1 long flash. How do I find a fault code chart?

Inlet / Drain is a general fault meaning there was no water movement when it was necessary to start the pump. Either it didn\'t drain out or it didn\'t fill the last time.

Call 800-999-1360 for free Miele tech support. They will advise you free of charge. You will perform step by step control board operations over the phone to clear the fault code as well as advise you how to cleanout the drain pump.

Miele novotronic w145 s spullen light flashes

Possible that this error can be due to the INLET or the DRAIN being clogged or is not functioning. Remove and clean the filter to both the inlet and drain.

Led key light flashes on my mwa64 hotpoint washer

Possible that the INLET and OUTLET - DRAIN filters are clogged or there is limited action. Remove and clean inlet and drain filters.
Also check on the connectors from the panel, reset all connections.

Dishwasher miele g646sc-the inlet/drain light flashes yet the drain system is clean and working the inlet filter is clean and the filter washed

Hi dear.If the checked lights comes on after the main wash & then flashes(when on main wash cycle,if the main pump works for a few minutes & then stops for a while & so on...)that indicates main wash pump faulty. You need to replace the motor it self.I hope that helps.Thanks.

Outlet/inlet light flashing on miele dishwasher G674SC

Usually indicates a intake or drain fault - could be a plugged drain line at the garbage disposal or insufficient water coming into the unit

Intake/drain light is flashing

When this happens with my dishwasher it usually means that the drain is clogged with food/debris.  To fix 1) remove bottom dish rack from machine 2) using a small cup, scoop out as much water as possible 3) remove inlet drain cover and unsnap the plastic insert and remove 4) rinse the plastic part and reinstall 5) start machine 6) if light still flashes, repeat steps 3 4 and 5 and restart

Wash motor does not run: Inlet/Drain error

Wordhog: Does sound like a siezed wash pump to me. Wash motor needs to run to get the correct level of water.

To drain a Miele dishwasher, start the machine on a cycle. All the Miele range of dishwashers drain before filling. Then hold in the start button until the end/finish light is lit. Keep doing this until all the water has gone. You could just get a jug and bail it out. Once the jug does not do the job anymore, switch to a cup, I use a very large syringe for the remaining half a litre.

Inlet/Drain light keeps flashing

Kenyanjoe, I have had the same problem with a G638 . the inlet/drain light flashed 30 sec after start up, (the machine must empty on start up, this did not happen), This caused it to lock out on alarm I removed the drain hose from the S trap, removed the non return valve from the filter, check the drain pump impellar is free, then blow down the drain hose back into the dishwasher to make sure it was not blocked then found the drain pipe on the S trap under the sink was restricted causing the machine not to empty in time for the cycle to continue causing it to lockout on inlet/drain alarm. Have a go , good luck. GUNNO
