Motorola H700 Ear Hook

Have lost the reversible ear hook for my H700. Headset works great but is now worthless. Anyone have a suggestion for where to find a replacement ear hook?

After having used my H700 for approximately 4 months, the ear hook almost like fell apart. It's hanging on by a thread. Any suggestions as to where to get a replacement or have it repaired?

I've contacted Motorola's customer service in an attempt to order a replacement and unfortunately, they don't sell or provide separate ear hooks for the H700. I found that peculiar and unfair. Considering that they have those parts for other headsets, a seemly gesture would be to offer it for the H700, one of their hottest headsets. I was even willing to pay for the replacement while they offer it free for the H500 and other headsets. I don't know what to say.

Same thing in Canada, neither Motorola or it's repair depot contractor sells the earclip as a seperate item. Considering the cost of the headpiece ($70), you'd think Motorola would want the repeat business. Oh well, guess it's time to look at the competitors' products.

They do not make earhooks alone. You must send it back and they will replace the whole unit.

You can't buy a replacement ear piece but you can buy a new H500 for $19.99 US. Not including shipping.

I use the H700 and a few others. Seems most die before they break so why pay more for less.

Mines broke as well and it was just only one week. The only suggestion I was given is to buy a whole new headset which makes no sense.
