Unplug the battery and plug in the AC power plug into the laptop;

Does the laptop start up and stay on?

If yes,

Then put the battery in WHILE IT IS ON; See if it starts charging.

If it does not; You have a bad battery and need to replace it.

If it does start charging here's what happend;

Some laptop batteries if they are fully depleted on charge will not let you power up the laptop EVEN IF the power cable is plugged in. In some cases the PC won't turn on at all.

The reason for this is because the battery must have a certain % of charge in order for you to start the PC even IF the power cable is plugged in.

By removing the battery we eliminated the battery as being a cause for this issue; Once the PC is up and running in windows.. LET THE BATTERY CHARGE! You'll want at least 10% charge minimum for the PC to start up.

If however the battery replaced still doesn't hold a charge it's going to be the AC Adapter power cable that's causing the issue.

Best advice start off with the power cable replacement first; This is the cheapest to fix; Otherwise the battery can cost in excess of $50-$150 or more. But universal AC power adapters can be cheap $70 or less which varies depending on laptop.

If you have a PC, try hooking up to the PC with your USB connection. Turn power on PC and it should charge your Tablet.

Does your unit power on at all or is it just not charging the battery?

If it's just not charging your battery the likely cause is the battery has just gotten used up, replacements are usually between $50 and $89 CAD

Check your PC's BIOS to see if battery charging has options to select from. If so, see if one of the options is to turn off battery charging while PC is powered up, or something to that effect.

Your charger and or battery are fried so try test or change them

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, until they won't charge up at all.

Try charging it up on a different computer. It says in the instructions that they cannot guarantee the charging of the battery on personally assembled or modified computers. I had the same problem with mine on our independent computer shop bought PC, but it is charging up fine now that I've plugged it into my hubby's laptop which was bought in a PC supermarket. You have to have an ignition switch on, only then to connect a device. It is to protect device against an electric shock.

This camera not charged via PC, you can charge the battery only with wall charger(comes with box).When camera is plugged to PC, you can´t use it as a camera, only as a memory card.You can watch your stuff in PC( PC recognise a camera as a flash memory, no more).

So, this is normal..Charge your camera with wall charger(Full charge Red light not flash!, if light flashed camera is charging) Unplug and use as usually!
