Hannspree Television/Wall Bracket

We've bought a 37" Hannspree television from Ebuyer. We wanted a tilt and swivel bracket and they sent what they said was the appropriate one for that television.

At the back of the Hannspree television there are six holes to attach the bracket plate to. The actual plate they've sent is square and has 4 holes. The 4 holes line up with either the left hand side four (including two central holes), or the right hand side four (including the same two central holes). But obviously the teleivion won't be held in a central position then. The television is obviously heavy and I am worried that this is the wrong bracket.

Can anybody help?

SOURCE: Attaching 26 " lcd to stud wall

12 inches is the minimum for mounting the unit to the wall. I mounted a 42 inch LCD using a Sanus tilt (non-swivel) mount from Best Buy. We mounted it on wooden beams exactly 12 inches apart. Works great!

There should be screw holes in the back of your TV.You might want to make sure your bracket screw holes line up with them.

Well, the best and cheapest I have found was Walmart. However, most electronic stores like Radio Shack or Best Buy also carry these items.

How think is this tv and is it wall mount able

It is wall mountable with a VESA Mount: 400 x 200 mm according to the installation guide (600 x 200 mm in the specs). The depth without stand is not given; other Magnovox TFT LCD televisions are about 5-6" in depth (4.9" for the 42MF439B/F7 )

A compatible wall mount is here: http://amazon.skakawack.com/Silver-Tilting-Wall-Mount-Bracket-for/M/B0019D4K6M.htm?traffic_src=froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_source=froogle .

I hope this helps.
