When i try to shutdown my system it give small **** as if ready but my wallpaper still appears for 2min and i even stll find time to repeat the action of shuting down for 2times at minimum can u pls give...

It seems like you may have some kind of program running in the background that refuses to shutdown.
Try pressing control + alt + delete and click on 'task manager' when you try shutdown and it's hanging.
Then click on processes tab and see what process is taking up the most CPU or Memory percentage.  Then highlight that, and right click and end process.

New installation but disk provided will not install.

First of all, your question is NOT clear! You have not mentioned what the heck is your intention. ?? Are you trying to delete a system file? a Windows program file? or just a program file? OR are you just trying to FORMAT your hard drive?

this may not be the problem but it is the only thing i can think of. Right click the drive and go to properties, there should be a tab which says "security" go to that and make sure your user name is checked for access if it isn't and you can't check boxes with that account log-on as "Administrator" add yourself to the checks and hopefully that will fix it.

If it is just some file that you want to remove follow this. ( NOTE: this will not delete key system files that is required for windows operation)
Go to Start -> Turn off computer -> Select "Restart"
While the system restarts ( after shutdown is complete) keep pressing the F8 key until you get the bootup menu. From this menu select " Start windows in safe mode". This time windows will start/load with the least required driver files and necessary system files. Now try to delete the file you wanted to delete.

If you want to FORMAT your hard drive, ( Be careful and know what you are doing here, you must have back up drivers for all your system equipments and an OS available to reinstall)
Go to Start -> Turn off computer -> Select "Restart"
While the system restarts ( after shutdown is complete) keep pressing the F8 key until you get the boot up menu. From this menu select "Safe mode with command prompt". When system boots up, go to the command prompt and format your system drive. ( C drive by default)

P.S: Where on earth did you go to high school? Next time when you write English, please use wisdom and be clear.

2488 Mk 1.

Hi Mike,

To reset the 2488 to factory defaults: Simultaneously press quick routing/shift/send/shutdown & turn on the unit.

The 'stop' button problem may require a look under the cover to see if the button is dirty or damaged under there. A good cleaning might do it. As for the 'no guitar out the monitors' issue, this sounds like it might have something to do with the setting of the monitor selector. Make sure it's set to 'stereo' and not effect loop or effect send or even muted. You might want to also make sure your monitor level pot is working properly.

Best of luck.
