Micro SD card

I've used the SD slot on my Epson stylus photo r320 for transferring music from my hard drive to the micro SD card that came with my motorola krzr phone (64MB). Recently I bought a Kingston 2GB Micro SD card and now the printer gives me an error, saying "the inserted card cannot be used with this printer" Why is that? Is it the brand or the size of the card that is the problem?

I'm having the same problem different model printer though. i have the Epson RX620 but i'm having the same Memory card or disk has not been insertedor cannot be recognised comming up

Hey leo2 whats happening is it's like my printer isn't recognizing my card. So it won't let my scan for viruses. The error message says " memory card or disk was not inserted or cannot be recognized". It's wierd because while the card is installed in my phone I can save pics and stuff to it so I know the card works. And another thing using the 1gb card out of my digital camera I can save music files to it using the same card reader slot on the printer..???? I can't figure it out. I really appreciate all and any help you can give and thanks so much for your time.

Same for me.  Is there a limitation on the size of SD the RX620 can read?  I formated using a Treo, and then with a Kodak camera - same error.

The reason is because the new SD card is probably an SDHC card or SD (high capacity) card, I had the same issue, get a new card reader or find a standard HD card. Wrestled with this for a good two weeks and it is gospel.

  • Transfer Music, photos or video files to a portable hard drive/ jump drive.
  • Or plainly get a higher storage capacity Micro SD memory card up to the Maximum allowable.

How can i transfer pictures from acer iconia to memory card

This Tablet Personal Computer [PC] takes Micro Secure Digital [SD] Cards. To transfer pictures from a Digital Camera to this PC, if the Camera also takes Micro SD cards, is simply a matter of removing the Micro SD card from the Camera and installing it in the PC's Micro SD Card Slot and then waiting for the PC's AutoPlay function to serve up the photo files stored on the card, which can then be Dragged and Dropped into a photo folder on the PC.

If the Camera takes SD Cards, then a Micro SD to SD Card Adapter is required so that the PC's Micro SD Card can fit in the camera before pictures are taken and then disconnected from the adapter afterwards, for re-insertion in the PC.

If the Camera takes a different type of Memory Card, then a Multi Card Reader might be required, which would be connected to the computer's USB Port and the Memory Card slotted into its matching slot in the Card Reader.

How do I transfer pictures from my cell phone to my laptop

You can transfer pictures to your laptop by using a Micro SD card reader like the one in the image:
brymz_10.jpg
Insert the Micro SD to the slot which says "Micro SD" and then plug it in the USB port of your laptop. The laptop will soon detect the Micro SD. Open "My Computer" and then choose the removable drive which is usually E: or F: or G:. Thanks.

How do i download music fRom my computer onto a SanDisk with a micro in my cell phone

hi what you will need to do is either use a USB cable from your pc to your cell phone, the memory stick (micro sd) will show as a removable device then just copy and past the mp3 files that you want to copy, the other way is to buy a sandisc micro card adapter, this looks just like a normal SD card, but at the top of it there is a slot that you put the micro SD card in then put it in a card reader as normal, then transfer the music over to that disc, when done just pull your micro sd card from the adapter and insert it into your cell phone as normal and away you go...hope this helps

How do i load music into my new i856 by boost

according to motorola, this phone has bluetooth and micro SD card slot.
if you have computer with bluetooth, then you can pair the computer and phone and simply send music files wirelessly via bluetooth.
if you dont have bluetooth, then you can buy a cheap usb bluetooth adapter from ebay and have a bluetooth enabled computer, then follow above step.

if you have SD card slot on your computer then you can get a SD card to micro SD card slot adapter from ebay or elsewhere, where you can simply put music on then card from pc and then transfer the card to the phone.

here is the phone manual.for safety read the whole manual.
p.55 for music and p.79 for bluetooth instructions.

How do i transfer pictures from cell phone to laptop?

two known options:

-email photo to yourself from the phone.

-this phone seems to have a micro sd card slot - you can insert a micro-sd card and transfer the photos to the card, then read the card on the laptop with a reader that supports micro sd.
so, you should check into the laptop and see if it has any card readers built in since you may need an additional adapter or device in order to connect the micro sd card to the laptop.
some micro sd cards will come with adapters to the larger sizes of mini and standars sd card, which may help.
you might also have luck putting the card from the phone into some other connectible device (ie a camera) and move the files in that manner - but depending on your hardware and software this may not be a viable option (inexpensive to try, though, if you already own some compatible device)

How do I use the SanDisk adaptor and the SanDisk 2GB microSD

Hello,

The micro card (the smaller one) can be used alone in a port that accepts (microSD ports)such as those on a Sansa c240, c250, e250 etc.
If you have a regular SD slot (larger than microSD) then you plug the micro card in the adapter and plug the whole into a regular SD slot.

Plug the card in your computer and copy paste the files. Or plug the micro card in an MP3 player that accepts it and use you music transfert software.

You only have one card (the micro SD one), which you can use in two possible slots.

Hope it helps.
