You might try to call Tritronics at 1-800-638-3328 Mon-Fri. If you are not a business they will sell to you but at a higher price. Give them the model and describe the part you need

I changed the lamp, but now the standby blinks green for about 10 seconds, then blinks red in 3's.

Check the lamp door cover. It will engage to safety switch when properly seat-in. When this switch is open your unit will not power up like what you've encountered right now. Go back to lamp assembly and check this part, re-install the lamp door cover and ensure that it will engaged to the switch.

I was given this model tv. The green and red lights on the front are flashing. Says to replace bulb and close lamp cover correctly. I am missing the lamp cover. Is that going to be a problem?

U mean the Lamp door cover?Yes?Tv might work, might not.Don't know never tries to turn the tv on before without a Lamp door cover close before. There is a blue safety switch though must be press down when the Lamp door cover is close.Test it out.Why don't u just take a piece of tape and tape that blue safety switch down tightly, than turn on the tv.If the tv message that said close lamp cover correctly disappear.Than yes the tv will work, without the lamp cover closed. Now u just needed to do a replacement of the tv projection lamp only that all.

I recently replaced a 915P026010 bulb for a MiTSUBISHI WD-62628 tv and it gives me a blinking yellow light in the lamp led indicating that the lamp housing is not installed properly. I have re-installled...

Make sure lamp cover is also fixed on tv cabinet after lamp installation.
If lamp cover has not been put on its place, tv wont turn On due to safety switch inside that place that gets press with lamp cover.
Thanks.

I have a Sony tv KDF50WE655, the other day while I was watching tv, heard a noise and the tv went off, displying the lamp red light..I ordered and replaced the lamp. I made sure the lamp is ok and the door...

Please make sure lamp cover is fixed properly in its position after lamp replacement as it has to press a safety switch located nearby lamp cover.
3 times red blink problem is related with that lamp cover safety switch only.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

How do I change my projection lamp for my Sony Wega KDF 50E2000.

Hello.
You have to get lamp fully assembled for easy replacement. That mean lamp should be purchased already installed in black plastic housing.
If you stand behind of your TV set on the left hand side (actual side) of your TV you will locate lamp door cover with latch on the top of it. Just push the latch down and remove cover. Deeper inside you will locate black plastic lamp door with handle that you have to rotate 1/8 of the turn counter-clockwise to open it up ( like a submarine style thing). Pull it out and next thing that you will discover - lamp assembly itself. Put your index finger inside of the ring-looking latch, pull it up and out. You have lamp removed now. Extremely carefully install new lamp in same order making sure that new lamp is ALL WAY IN (there is safety switch that sense if lamp is not properly in) and install the door making sure it is ALL WAY IN and LOCKED (there is another safety switch that sense it). If any of the switches will not sense proper installation TV WILL NOT turn on.
You can turn TV on to check if it is working. Last thing to do - reinstall lamp door cover.
Good luck!
Russ.

KDF-50a12U Powers off then standby light blinks 3 times

Please recheck Lamp Cover and make sure it is fixed in its space securely as 3 times red blink shows lamp cover error.
There is small safety switch in TV cabinet under lamp cover that has to be pushed by lamp cover if it is fixed in its position properly. That switch is not being pressed by lamp cover and causing this error.
Thanks.

if components on the Power board K9A20 and/or K9A21 are shorted. Also, R9A02 may be open. Possible side effects are a deformed lamp exhaust duct and damaged lamp. Replace PWB-POWER part # 934C228003 and if necessary, Lamp part # 915P049010, Lamp Exhaust Duct part # 642B155010, and/or Lamp Exhaust Duct Cover part # 642B156010 let me know if you need anything else

Samsung HLN617W wont come on

Unit does not have a flywheel. Assemblies include lamp, ballast, color wheel, dmd board, light tunnel, main and/or digital and analog pcb as well as power supply. These are all the assemblies in DLPs. The problem you described is usually lamp or ballast, but can also be from dmd or other circuit boards. Make sure lamp cover door safety switch is secure and fully engaged after replacing lamp or removing rear cover. I admit these sets are not cheap to repair. Good luck, Russmann.
