I need help! I am trying to copy the driver for my Intel 865gv P4 S.478 533/800fsb Board....when I tried to copy the driver to a DVD disc.....Windows gave me an error that said the file 'Intel chipset 1002' has extra information attached to it that might be lost if you continue copying....I clicked yes and I got another window that said there was a problem copying the file.....what am I doing wrong??
Borrow a flash drive memory stick from someone to copy the file to. It's less than 1 meg and you're going to burn it to a 4.5 gig DVD disc? Plug the flash drive in and when you click on the file tell it to save to the flash disc. Make sure you download the driver from Intel's website.
Good day sir/maam, you are doing fine, except that the CD/DVD is done, get another copy, or if you are sure that the disk is in good order, try copying the disk to another PC. you can try copying the disk on another CD/DVD just to confirm if the disk is still usable. If the disk is good. try reinstalling it again. thanks.
Which website are you getting your drivers from? Gigabyte has the drivers for that chipset. Are you using a DVD copy program to bring your files to the disk? Do you have enough Disk Space to copy them on to your Hard Disk in a folder you create? This is sometimes the best way to retrieve your files and put them on a DVD.
