When I try to get the controller to establish a connection with the console, I just get a blinking light that won't stabilize. Both components are new (gift). Console seems to be working fine . . . problem definitely seems to be in the controller. Any suggestions?
Batteries are brand new & I double-checked to make sure they were properly positioned. Any other suggestions?Batteries are brand new & I double-checked to make sure they were properly positioned. Any other suggestions?

Sometimes IR controllers get cloudy transmitters, this is when the eye has film on it that the receiver can not see properly, just another suggestion. The best would be to return to store and get new one. It shouldn't be any problem.Sometimes IR controllers get cloudy transmitters, this is when the eye has film on it that the receiver can not see properly, just another suggestion. 1. Remove the second Wii Remote's battery cover and insert two AA batteries into the device. 2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Push and release the console's "SYNC" button. 3. Push and release the "SYNC" button below the Wii Remote's batteries. 4. Wait for the Wii Remote LED to stop blinking. 5. Replace the Wii Remote battery cover. 6. Snap
the Wii Remote into the back of the second Logitech Wireless Guitar
Controller for Wii. Your second guitar will then use your Wii Remote's
power and synchronization to the console and respond to Guitar Hero.
First of all make sure your guitar hero controller turns on and flash's. Next, you will see at the bottom of the guitar hero controller there is a little button. On your Xbox 360 there should also be a syncbutton which you use to sync controllers. Hold the sync button down on your Xbox and at the same time on your guitar hero controller as well. You should see that the lights on your xbox and controller spin round and then flash a few time in till displaying one light next to the appropriate number. Please note that you cannot use a Rock band controller on Guitar hero. If You controller still does not connect then try changing the batteries in case they are low, but if the problem continues to persist then you shall have to call Xbox customer support by going to www.Xbox.co.uk .
If you look on the front of your 360 way down at the bottom you will see a little door at the bottom, push the little flap in towards the system and you will see two usb ports, plug it in there.
Alright... What you need to do is look for a small button on the guitar first of all... look all around it... its not quite the size of a pea.... it has a little "connect like symbol" also look for that same button on your xbox 360....... its about the same size and it is on the right side right next to the memory card slots... first push the button on the 360, then it will do a cycle of l.e.d lights... while its doing that, press the button on the guitar... and when everything stops blinking, then it should be connected :D.... GOOD LUCK ! :D
What you need to do is plug the microphone into the xbox 360, then you need to connect a regular 360 controller to the xbox... there are not any buttons on the microphone which is why the controller is needed.
RESET THE BUTTONS ON THE X-BOX CONSOLE AND THE GUITAR AT THE SAME TIME, JUST LIKE YOU WERE ADDING ANOTHER HAND CONTROL. STAND IN FRONT OF THE BOX TO MAKE SURE THEY LINK AND GIVE IT A LITTLE TIME.
I had this issue myself today when I borrowed Guitar Hero III and the wireless guitar from a friend. Luckily I decided to scour the internet before I got so pissed that I broke an accessory that isn't mine.
There are TWO buttons that you have to push to connect a new wireless device to your 360 that isn't connecting automatically.
Step 1 There is a small white button on the face of the 360 just to the right of the controller wire ports. Press and hold this button until the light on your 360 starts to flash. This puts your system into pairing mode. When this happens:
Step 2 There is a small inconspicuous button on the bottom of the guitar near the strap connection When you press and hold this one you will see the lights around the x-box symbol flash in a circle.
If this does not solve your problem, chance are that you are indeed F*@KED and have to return yet another Microsoft product.
hi again,
is your guitar plugged in?
if its wireless youll have to click the link button on the back or side of the guitar. this is a power saving mode.
