I have an RCA 52in Rear Projection TV. One day it

I have an RCA 52in Rear Projection TV. One day it started having shadows of the pictures. Turned it off and tried to turn back on, would not come on. Power light doesn't even light up. Can you help?

There is a sub-board in this set that powers the convergence circuit. Often a big Ic shorts, two diodes and finally the main fuse. not something you can fix yourself.

Deflection board , its bottom board to the left has FBT flyback transfomer CK capacitors cp 150 2200uf 16v use 25v and two more cp114 cp120 220uf 35v if cp 150 is puffed up on top it is bad replace All 3 capacitors for parts call Mats Electronics 1-800-628-1118, also For Deflection replacement board Call Encompass Electronics Parts 1-800-638-3328

RCA projection is having color shadows and blurred picture.

Hi, this is failed convergence and it is due to a faulty convergence board chip set. simply replacing the convergence board in this set Will fix your issues.

1) Do you have a cable box or converter box hooked up to the TV? 2) How old is the TV ? 3) Is it a rear projection TV? 4) Does this happen when watching a DVD, Game Source, VCR Tape?

If you will look I bet you'll find a switch on the back of the TV for internal or external speaker. It's probably gotten switched to EXT. somehow.

Blue convergence

DO you have 2 possible solutions

1.--Look under the CTR ( picture tubes) for leak coolant , all the times this set leaking, if is positive, use alcohol 90% with a bottle spray, clean the area, tied screws gasket ctr and let dry for 6 hours minimum.

2.--Loose connections on the left chassis ( convergence board), re solder ( look for possible resistor born)

Sounds like someone has put a magnet near it or picture projection from rear may have moved is the picture fine other than tinting?

Screen dont work

proabably it,s because you left it on for long time , or the image power saver is wrecked and damaged after a storng lightinning , and if you have cleaned ther tv screen with a wet wiper it causes that to happen
