How to forward port on telkom mega 100wr router

A new sim card (every network in South Africa) are assigned with a new cell number when you activate the new Sim. However...if you wish to use a number which you have had for years, you can port that number to Telkom (before you activate the new Telkom Sim) Go to any Telkom outlet and ask for a New Sim card. It is free. Give them your number and they will notify you current network of your intention to port to Telkom. What is importand is that you need to have the old Sim in your phone to receive the port confirmation. If not, then the porting to Telkom will be rejected. This is to ensure that people do not illegally port and steal other peoples cell numbers.

Ok you've done something that I'm not real sere that you wanted to do. You're trying to connect a gateway/modem to a layer 2 highly configureable web switch. It may/may not require any crossover cables this canbe determined later.
First however you the 100WR must be configured A) Plug-in the power B) Plugin a "4" wire telephone cable this may not be nessarry however I do not know anything about your service provider and a few do require this also make sure that there is no alarm system on the same line or you will have to call your phone company or alarm company. plug the telephone line from the wall to the 1000WR now you should get not only the power light but the internet/adsl light now on the back of the 1000WR is a series of 4 or so ethernet ports. Connect an ethernet cable between the port and your computer you will see that your computer will try to get a connection how it shows it will be some kind of network signal on microsoft products, also a light will light on the 1000WR if not get a crossover.To go any furter is a shot in the dark what I need is what is your operating system the reason you are useing a layer 2 web switch (bet you paid a lot for it) and who we are connceting to
