No heat but fan keeps running

If the air conditioner compressor runs all the time the main control board might be defective. The main control board provides the voltage to the fan motor and compressor. These boards are often misdiagnosed. Check all other components to be certain this is the cause of the problem.

Qmark muh won't shut off

I believe these models have a thermal switch on or near the heating element that normally runs the fan until the element has cooled. Similar to your home furnace. If the fan never shuts off this switch is likely bad. IF it takes a long time to shut off then it may be out of calibration. In either case they are non repairable parts and have to be replaced. If the heater is in a high spot resulting in a high ambient temperature it may take a while for the fan to shut down.

Cooling not cold

Hi, This is called a split system heat-pump. If it was cooling and stopped and cooled again and now stopped, you need to be sure the outdoor unit is working properly. You can only check certain things as they require special gauges and know how. Make sure the condenser fan is on and reach down where the 2 copper lines are when it is on. Grab hold of the large line which is the suction side and it should be cold enough to condensate. The smaller is the liquid line and should be warm in the cooling mode.If not, listen to see if you can hear the compressor running inside of it. Should hear a humming sound. You can carefully remove the control panel door and feel it to see, but BE CAREFUL! Don't get your hand in the fan blade. Do these checks and get back to me when you do and we can go from there.
Sincerely,

Mitsubishi MSH 18NV no heating or cooling

The fact that nothing is coming on indicates that there is possibly a problem with your incomming power supply or wiring to and from the inside evaporator to the outside condenser. If all in good order, suggest you find someone you know who can operate a multimeter and check if there is voltage going to the control board inside the evaporator unit. If there is then almost certainly the control board would need replacement.

Yes, it is a cool down period. The fan will shut off after a few minutes.
