The way that you would get 2 ohms would be the way you wire your subwoofer or subwoofers in your box. You can go to this site and choose how many speakers you have and then you will have to choose whether you have Dual Voice Coil or Single Voice coil and whether they are 2, 4, 6, or 8, ohm subwoofers and the site will tell you how to wire them to get each possible outcome.....

Look on your speakers to see what ohm they're rated at currently. To get 4 ohm speakers to 2 ohm, simply wire the speakers in series. Meaning that you hook #2 sub to #1 sub and then to the amp. So you will have 1 connection to the amp but you'll be operating 2 subs. Hope this helps
HI.You can actually tets a resistor using a MULTITESTER.Set It first to OMHS value.set it to the lowest omhs value.Connecttone end of the tester's to one of te resistor and the other end as well. Now if it gives you a reading a small reading ,itmeans it's not defective and if otherwise it won'T itsdefective the other way around. Now if the reading iss infinite means that TESTERS pointer moves to its maximum,it will also be conidered defective.Esistor has color conding on it.If the reading does not match to its color coding value, then It iS also defective.hope this steps helps you.thank you for choosing FIXYA.
Ican give you a way to test your coil i just can,t give you the exact resistance reading for your coil. In general take your mulitmeter set it ot OMHS high scale measure resistance between tech - lead on coil to the output socket reading should be 7.5 to 10.5 k omhs then go from the + side terminal to the tach - side go to a lower scale you should read between .7 to 1.7 omhs like i said this is a gerenal reading your may vary but if you read close the coil is likely fine if your way off or you don,t get any reading then its NG
that amp is only stable 2 about 4 omhs mono the powersupply shut dowm drawing t much current it supposed 2 2 fix this u need a 4omh load mono change speaker config so u get 4 omh or buy amp stable down 2 1omh can be expensive
omh is actually ohms whis is the measurement of resistance in an electrial circuit, with a multimeter you would set it to the ohms side of the dial and put the leads (one on each side) to the connections of each side of the coil, then you should get a resistance or ohms reading. you will need to consult ford to establish the maximum amount of resistance allowance per each coil, if it is too high it will need to be replaced!! hope this helped!!
